Actual results: Applet reports that the cable is unplugged Expected results: Applet should show a connection Additional info:When attempting to edit the connection to change from the default DHCP to static the configuration files were not actually altered. No errors were reported. nm-tool reports correct status. nm-connection-editor can alter the configuration. It would seem that the NetworkManager backend is working properly.
