comment
-----
the connection is a socket-based connection to mysqld installed on localhost.

for now i could not reproduce it.

% rpm -qa mysql\*
mysql-5.1.52-1.fc14.x86_64
mysql-workbench-5.2.29-1.fc14.x86_64
mysql-connector-c++-1.1.0-0.4.bzr895.fc14.x86_64
mysql-libs-5.1.52-1.fc14.x86_64
mysql-server-5.1.52-1.fc14.x86_64

How to reproduce
-----
1. play with mysql-workbench (including using server administration link on the right a few times)
2. use "server administration" once again
3. see it crash
