This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in the current release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Because the affected component is not scheduled to be updated in the current release, Red Hat is unfortunately unable to address this request at this time. Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to propose this request, if appropriate and relevant, in the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. If you would like it considered as an exception in the current release, please ask your support representative. The files (in this case, the index.html files in the gtk-doc-generated documentation) differ by a section ID. gtk-doc does not have guarantees about stable section IDs until version 1.19, and version 1.11 is in RHEL 6. Moving to gtk-doc. *** Bug 708449 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Rebasing gtk-doc is probably going to involve bringing in new Perl dependencies and the like. It's risky, with the ability to break the build of many packages. At the same time, multilib for devel packages isn't something that should be a priority. Our production RPM builds use `mock` which uses *separate roots* for 32 bit and 64 bit. Development Management has reviewed and declined this request. You may appeal this decision by reopening this request. |
