Description of problem:

The following fails:
euca-describe-images -U http://ec2.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/ -A AAAAA -S SSSSS+ -o self
But this works:
euca-describe-images -U http://ec2.us-east-1.amazonaws.com -A AAAAA -S SSSSS+ -o self

How reproducible:

Synchronous

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Substitute valid credentials in the reported command, run it.
  
Actual results:

[Errno -2] Name or service not known

Expected results:

Oh god, this is much worse than I expected. These people screwed parsing
of URLs completely: any path with no port causes the same symptom.

Garrett, I'm going to attach a patch, could you please review and post to
Eucalyptus?

This is fixed in upstream commit 321.  A patched rpm should be forthcoming.  Thanks for the simple test case!
