Oh god, this is much worse than I expected. These people screwed parsing of URLs completely: any path with no port causes the same symptom. Garrett, I'm going to attach a patch, could you please review and post to Eucalyptus?

This is fixed in upstream commit 321. A patched rpm should be forthcoming. Thanks for the simple test case!
