File: backtrace
Had you hovered the mouse over the print icon in the notification area? Had you clicked on that icon at all? Trying to understand exactly what happened and what sort of tooltip it was trying to display. I don't think I had the mouse near that icon let alone click on it. But unfortunately I don't remember exactly. *** Bug 667111 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 714950 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Seems to happen in JobViewer.set_statusicon_visibility(), here: # Let the icon show/hide itself before continuing. while self.process_pending_events and gtk.events_pending (): --> gtk.main_iteration () To trigger this, I think the cursor would need to be hovering over the status icon at the point when it changes from shown to hidden, i.e. when the final print job finishes. However, when I've tried this I have not been able to reproduce the problem. One potential way of guarding against this would be to call self.statusicon.set_has_tooltip(False) before that loop. system-config-printer-1.2.8-2.fc14 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 14. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/system-config-printer-1.2.8-2.fc14 Package system-config-printer-1.2.8-2.fc14: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 14 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days.
