Description Bill Nottingham 2010-12-21 22:45:19 UTC
Description of problem:

If I have a transaction that is only installing, not upgrading, packages, yum downloads the presto metadata. It should not do this, as there can't be anything to delta against.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

yum-3.2.28-5.fc14.noarch
yum-presto-0.6.2-2.fc14.noarch

+1 / bump. Not critical, but it would be very nice if this could be fixed.

Yeah, I've got this on my to-do list. Unfortunately, life has been busy and probably will be for a while. Hopefully, I'll be able to get to it sometime in the next couple of months.

Comment 5 Jonathan Dieter 2011-07-07 22:11:30 UTC
This is fixed in http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=252023 and will be in Fedora 16.
