The latest bitlbee update switched to NSS, which was missing an
implementation of an ssl_pending function in the bitlbee code.  This
made it possible for bitlbee to only recieve a partial message from an
SSL server and fail to connect under certain conditions.

The following patch for the problem has been accepted upstream - would
it be possible to backport this into the Fedora package?
