Description csotto 2011-01-10 13:08:23 UTC
SELinux is preventing /opt/Adobe/Reader9/Reader/intellinux/bin/acroread from using the 'execstack' accesses on a process.

==> NOTE: <=================================
BUG #1 - Acroread produces an SELinux Error
BUG #2 - Instruction (recommended action) below produces Syntax Error
[root@fedora14 ~]# grep /opt/Adobe/Reader9/Reader/intellinux/bin/acroread /var/log/audit/	audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol
compilation failed:
mypol.te:6:ERROR 'syntax error' at token '' on line 6:
/usr/bin/checkmodule: error(s) encountered while parsing configuration
/usr/bin/checkmodule: loading policy configuration from mypol.te

*****  Plugin catchall (5.76 confidence) suggests  ***************************

If you believe that acroread should be allowed execstack access on processes labeled unconfined_t by default.
Then you should report this as a bug.
You can generate a local policy module to allow this access.
Do
allow this access for now by executing:
# grep /opt/Adobe/Reader9/Reader/intellinux/bin/acroread /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol
# semodule -i mypol.pp
