Description Lennart Poettering 2011-02-08 19:55:23 UTC
/etc/modprobe.d/dist-alsa.conf really should go away since on newer kernels the seq device is autoloadable via a devname alias. That means people can just open the sequencer device and if the backing kmod isn't loaded yet it will be used.

Please drop /etc/modprobe.d/dist-alsa.conf from the m-i-t package.

s/will be used/will be auto-loaded and used/.

Any update on this? I'd like to see this trivial fix in F15.

Comment 4 Jon Masters 2011-04-19 00:19:05 UTC
Yea. Oops. I'll look at this.
