I am sorry for the delay; I just got a chance to try the install again and grab the requested log files. They are now attached. Does this still happen with F17? This message is a notice that Fedora 15 is now at end of life. Fedora has stopped maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 15. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At this time, all open bugs with a Fedora 'version' of '15' have been closed as WONTFIX. Description of problem: I wanted to install F15-alpha for testing by resizing one of the partitions to install on. In fact, the dialog box allow me to increase the size, but not to reduce the size of /dev/sda5. I then redid the install, this time trying it with the "shrink partitions to create free space" option. Same problem. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): F-15 alpha How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Try to install with anaconda 2. select to use custom layout or "shrink partition" and select a partition to shrink / resize 3. Actual results: Dialog box cannot reduce partition size, but allow to increase it. The "down arrow" button to reduce the size is greyed out. Expected results: Dialog box allow to reduce the partition size, and partition is shrunk. Additional info:
