I can't find the c/c++ perspective on Fedora 15, the following packages are installed:

Can you try whether installing eclipse-pde will fix the problem?

Ok, I've installed it and the c/c+ perspective is now available, it was a real big download but it is maybe a good idea to make this a dependency for eclipse-cdt if there is no better way.

Installing:
