The lvextend command doesn't support the -o option, so I'm closing this as notabug. |
This came up in a review of the 6.1 info, late in the cycle, so I'm filing it as a doc bug for 6.2 since it's pretty trivial all told but I would like to fix this in a future release -- but that involves a bit of setup to get the example output. Looks good steve. Not hugely important, but one thing that would have made the second entry (extend with cling) a bit clearer would be to also add "tags" to the -o argument. This way the devices and their tags would be displayed in the 'lvs' output. brassow On Apr 14, 2011, at 10:26 AM, Steven Levine wrote: > > The 6.1 draft of the LVM manual contains a summary of new features for RHEL 6.1, section 1.1.2 here: > > > > http://documentation-stage.bne.redhat.com/docs/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/6/html/Logical_Volume_Manager_Administration/LVM_overview.html#s1-ov-newfeatures-6.1-LVM > > > > Each of those bullet points includes a link to the section where the feature is documented. > > > > All of those updates are the small updates I have noted in previous email messages to this list, except for the new procedure for using the --alloc cling option of lvextend.
