Description Angus Salkeld 2011-05-17 00:46:48 UTC
Description of problem:
pacemaker is missing pkgconfig files. These files are necessary to properly test
dependencies and determine runtime library names and paths.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
pacemaker-libs-devel-1.1.5-1.fc15.x86_64

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1.yum install pacemaker-libs-devel
2.ls /usr/lib64/pkgconfig/
3.

Actual results:
no pacemaker.*.pc

Expected results:
some .pc files for the distributed library files.

(nice to have would be pacemaker-pengine.pc)

Providing pkgconfig files is not a requirement, AC_CHECK_LIB() has functioned for years without them.
That said, there are some in the devel tree that will be included in the next release.

Andrew,

You mentioned you will fix in next version - can we keep bug open until it is fixed and a specific upstream version contains the resolution? Otherwise, I have no idea when it is fixed..

Thanks
-steve

Comment 3 Andrew Beekhof 2011-05-17 20:07:55 UTC
Current version is 1.1.5 therefore it will be fixed in 1.1.6.
Please do not reopen.
