$ rpm -q NetworkManager
NetworkManager-0.8.999-2.git20110509.fc15.x86_64

I'm not completely understanding what is going on -  but on a particular network with a WEP passphrase:

1) Delete all information I can find about the network /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts-*<ssid>*
2) Check there is nothing in my gnome-keyring
3) Try to connect to the network - carefully selecting WEP passphrase from the dropdown
4) Connection immediately fails
5) In my /var/log/messages:

May 23 10:04:06 lagrange NetworkManager[5667]:    ifcfg-rh: parsing /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-Auto_<ssid> ... 
May 23 10:04:06 lagrange NetworkManager[5667]:    ifcfg-rh:     error: Invalid WEP key length

6) In /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/keys-Auto_<ssid>
  KEY1=<passphrase>
7) If I change that to KEY_PASSPHRASE1=<passphrase> and try again, connection suceeds

I've been able to connect to connect to the same network from a different Fedora 15 system and in fact from this Fedora 15 system earlier, so that's pretty confusing. My *memory* of how I got to this state was that I was just sitting there using the system, it kicked me off (maybe a router hiccup), and when it went to reconnect I got the dialog, though that was a week or so ago. Didn't have time to figure out the manual edit and file this bug until today.

(This looks very similar to bug 581718 - figured out the workaround from that. But that was fixed a year ago.)

This message is a notice that Fedora 15 is now at end of life. Fedora
has stopped maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 15. It is
Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no
