Description Jean-François Fortin Tam 2011-05-29 20:53:32 UTC
After using my Thinkpad T43p (which has an i915) for a while, I get weird corruption of characters on screen. For example, the "n" letter could have a "line" cut through it and every occurrence of the letter "n" on the screen would look like that.

This seems to be https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=36326 upstream

Yes, the bug in the upstream bugzilla has much more life to it, and we believe that it is more appropriate to let it be resolved there.

We will continue to track the issue in the centralized upstream bug tracker, and will review any bug fixes that become available for consideration in future updates.

We would strongly encourage you to subscribe to the upstream bug as well (by logging in and adding yourself to the Cc list), so that you can provide whatever information required for the successful resolving of this issue.

Thank you for helping to make free software better.
