Description John T. Folden 2011-06-03 09:33:09 UTC
I installed the latest glibc package from updates-testing and then found that I could not print. System-config-printer stated the printing service was not running and I found the following crash in /var/log/messages:

Jun 3 04:33:04 voyager kernel: [ 39.533983] cupsd[967]: segfault at 3 ip 00437fb1 sp bfa00df4 error 4 in libresolv-2.14.so[430000+16000]

Downgrading glibc and glibc-common fixed the issue.
