Created attachment 502654 [details] backtrace from ntpd Description of problem: glibc-2.14-1 causes ntpd to segfault during the system boot up. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): glibc-2.14-1 How reproducible: ntpd segfaults when hostnames can't be resolved. ntpd can be started successfully later, after the network and dnsmasq are up. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Reboot computer 2. 3. Actual results: ntpd segfaults Expected results: ntpd doesn't crash Additional info: On my system, dnsmasq is configured as a local caching dns server, /etc/resolv.conf lists 127.0.0.1 as the only nameserver.
