Description Ernesto Lopez Duran 2002-08-09 21:00:26 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 98)

Description of problem:
I was trying to install Red Hat 7.0 in a DOS partition, everything was ok,
until the installer tried to format the areas that would be used to install Red
Hat Linux, then it crashed sending an anaconda dump, allowing me to choose
between ok, save or debug.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start the installation, it doesn't matter if it's in text or graphical
format.
2. Select a Windows / DOS partition as the root directory
3. Give all the configuration requested and let the install program proceed.

Actual Results: When it tries to format the partitions for Red Hat Linux the
installation program shows a windows that says there have been a severe error,
it also shows a dump and tell to report this problem at
http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla, allowing to end the installation, save the
dump or debug the problem.

Expected Results: The installation program should have continued running
normally

Additional info:
