Description nomnex 2011-06-28 06:39:36 UTC
Description of problem:

I am not positive, but it looks like installing shotwell from the F15 repo install the gnome player totem.

I use F-15 LXDE. I want to use shotwell but I don't want/need this gnome player. The lesser Gnome applications (& their mammoth dependencies) I install, the better.

As a side-note, why does a photo application bring a movie player along? Thanks.

I am positive. the Totem is marked as dependency of shotwell.

Comment 2 nomnex 2011-07-14 23:50:31 UTC
Shotwell also plays movies now. I was not aware of the changes. So this is not a bug. Sorry about that.

This was fixed for F16 a while back and I'm currently doing a fixed build for F17.
