Seems like a window manager issue to me. Which one do you use? Gnome, KDE, or something else? We will review this issue again once you've had a chance to attach this information. Thanks in advance. I discovered what the problem was. When I write in Chinese, the input method i was using SCIM, would crash Thunderbird. I have since removed SCIM, and have switched to the pinyin-ibus method. 很好!! Pinyin-ibus has its own issues, but at least it does crash my app I am working in. ;-) So I think we can close this ticket. -gc resolved by switching to ibus and dumping scim. |
