Description Peter Gückel 2011-10-04 17:47:24 UTC
Description of problem:
When sounds are enabled in kpatience and in shisen-sho, the games are nearly unplayable. A pause of about 10 seconds occurs in the game between each turn. Disable sounds solves the problem.

I am now using kde-4.7.2 and the problem persists.

Comment 2 Peter Gückel 2012-04-14 05:31:44 UTC
I have upgraded my computers to fedora 17 (clean installs) and this problem persists.

When I play Shisen-Sho with the sound enabled, it is impossible to select a second tile to make a pair. The program refuses to select, or occasionally does so only after numerous tries, and then executes the actions in slow motion.

When I disable the sounds, the game runs fine.

Comment 3 Peter Gückel 2012-11-10 18:54:20 UTC
I just tried it again after ages of not doing so, and now, with kde-4.9.3, sounds work without jamming the game.
