Reassigning to the new owner of this component. This package has changed ownership in the Fedora Package Database. Reassigning to the new owner of this component. The trace happened because libvirt tried to call a cleanup callback function as part of removing a callback, but the previously-registered function at address 0x00007fec267a5e10 was no longer mapped to valid code. Thread 1 (Thread 0x7fec267b5740 (LWP 1970)): #0 0x00007fec267a5e10 in ?? () No symbol table info available. #1 0x00007fec1c3bfe67 in virNetClientStreamEventRemoveCallback (st=0x272d750) at rpc/virnetclientstream.c:515 ret = -1 __FUNCTION__ = "virNetClientStreamEventRemoveCallback" I'm not entirely sure this is a libvirt problem. Can we determine where virt-manager registered callbacks in the first place, and if this could be a case of virt-manager registering a dlopen'd function that gets unloaded prior to the time that libvirt tries to call the function? How easy is it to reproduce the situation that caused the crash? *** Bug 767651 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I know there have been a bunch of stream clean up bits that have hit since the F16 release, I'll just try and pull a bunch into -maint and call this fixed. libvirt-0.9.6.1-1.fc16 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 16. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/libvirt-0.9.6.1-1.fc16 Package libvirt-0.9.6.1-1.fc16: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 16 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days.
