I have tried Fedora 16 - beta live version, same exact thing. In other bug report I read to use rfkill, this is what it returns: # rfkill list 0: acer-wireless: Wireless LAN Soft blocked: yes Hard blocked: no 1: phy0: Wireless LAN Soft blocked: no Hard blocked: no For # rfkill unblock all Does not return anything, and when getting the rfkill list again, it returns the same thing as before. I have found this same bug (I think its the same issue) at Bug 674353 - NetworkManager can't connect to wireless networks while acer_wmi module loaded *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 674353 *** |
