Description David Jaša 2011-11-26 21:28:36 UTC
Description of problem:
The documentation says that deleteResource method of PyQt4.QtNetwork.QNetworkAccessManager class is available since QT 4.6:
http://doc.qt.nokia.com/latest/qnetworkaccessmanager.html#deleteResource
but it is not exposed to PyQt4 (see below)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
qt-4.6.2-20.el6.x86_64
PyQt4-4.6.2-8.el6.x86_64

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. run this in command line (adapted from recent Picard):
cat << EOF | python /dev/stdin
from PyQt4 import QtNetwork, QtCore, QtXml
class XmlWebService(QtCore.QObject):
    def __init__(self, parent=None):
        QtCore.QObject.__init__(self, parent)
        self.manager = QtNetwork.QNetworkAccessManager()
        self._request_methods = {
            "GET": self.manager.get,
            "POST": self.manager.post,
            "PUT": self.manager.put,
            "DELETE": self.manager.deleteResource
        }
class Tagger:
    self.xmlws = XmlWebService()
EOF

Actual results:
Exception thrown:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/dev/stdin", line 15, in <module>
  File "/dev/stdin", line 16, in Tagger
  File "/dev/stdin", line 12, in __init__
AttributeError: 'QNetworkAccessManager' object has no attribute 'deleteResource'

Expected results:
no exception thrown
