CC & NEEDINFO Kevin Kofler: Kevin, I came across bug #753279 where you refer to nVidia bug - please, would you be so kind to take a look if this bug is the same case? the crash seems to happen while trying to use ProjectM plugin which is a OpenGL visualisation stuff thus there is the common point that /usr/lib/nvidia/libGL.so.1 is in use however, it seems that the 290.10 update was already installed ... Yes, this is the same. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 753279 *** > however, it seems that the 290.10 update was already installed ... Then there must still be some bug in either glibc and nvidia, both supposedly got "fixed", yet it seems still broken… Maybe rerunning prelink -ua as Andreas Schwab suggested in bug #751891 helps… Otherwise please report any further issues there. (Bug #753279 is actually marked as a duplicate of bug #751891, so I'm reduping this to the master bug.) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 751891 *** (In reply to comment #8) > Yes, this is the same. thanks (In reply to comment #9) > (Bug #753279 is actually marked as a duplicate of bug #751891, so I'm reduping > this to the master bug.) ah, I haven't read the comments carefully, thanks again ;-) (also for pointing out the prelink suggestion, hope that helps to the reporter) |
