Install the latest version from: https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/82/cpu-temperature-indicator/ Dear Dipesh Acharya, Thanks for the link but I need a little more guidance. Your link opens the page with user comments and the following link: http://motorscript.com/gnome-shell-extension-cpu-temperature/ This, second link recomends to use command: yum -y install gnome-shell-extension-cpu-temperature which reports that I already have the latest version. I guess I am missing something ... In addition, can you please specify what version I am looking for? Thank you in advance, NM Using yum is probably the easiest way. But this repo takes some time to be updated. You are recommended to use either https://github.com/xtranophilist/gnome-shell-extension-cpu-temperature or https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/82/cpu-temperature-indicator/ You didn't read that page completely. Few lines below, it is written that: "But you are recommended to install using the following instructions so that you always have the latest version. ...." OK, thanks. will do. It worked but only after uninstalling the older version. Above installes locally vs globally via 'Package Manager for GNOME'.
