Description Og Maciel 2012-01-18 18:35:20 UTC
Description of problem:

Saw this at the beginning of /var/log/katello/production.log:

Warning: Incorrect version , Expected 0.4.16-1, got 0.5.8-1

Talked to bkearney and he said that we need to update the katello package to expect a newer version of candlepin (see src/config/subsystems.yml)

I'm attaching 2 patches here:

* Modified the warning message to state that the mismatched version is for candlepin
* Updated the version of the expected candlepin

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

katello-all-0.1.182-1.git.0.99f169e.el6.noarch

I thought this had been removed from the code already? Seems like a strange thing to see as a regression.

I completely removed the check in katello-0.1.216-1. It's not very useful now.
