This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

This bug is created as a clone of upstream ticket:
https://fedorahosted.org/sssd/ticket/1155

Currently, SSSD cannot handle the existence of multiple namingContexts entries in the RootDSE without a corresponding defaultNamingContext attribute telling it which one it should use.

This is done for historical reasons, before we supported multiple search bases. We should update this code to generate a multiple search base for missing {{{ldap_*_search_base}}} entries.

I recommend this for inclusion in RHEL 6.3. It could negatively impact upgrades from RHEL 6.2.

A better solution was proposed upstream and will be solved under the umbrella of BZ #773706
