This is because the ums_realtek driver is passing a stack variable to the dma layer (eventually). What were you doing when this happened? I added the patch in comment #2. This should be fixed in the next f17/rawhide kernel build. (In reply to comment #1) > This is because the ums_realtek driver is passing a stack variable to the dma > layer (eventually). What were you doing when this happened? Josh, as I stated this happened right after booting the system. So I don't really know what caused this error to pop up. It's good that you added the patch. I rebooted the system after having downloaded and installed KDE and other debug packages to send in a report/ Now I don't know if that has anything to do with this error or not. Package: kernel OS Release: Fedora release 17 (Beefy Miracle) *** Bug 796019 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** kernel-3.3.0-0.rc4.git1.4.fc17 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 17. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/kernel-3.3.0-0.rc4.git1.4.fc17 Package kernel-3.3.0-0.rc4.git1.4.fc17: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 17 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days. If I can give more info about this bug, please tell me.
(In reply to comment #12) > Created attachment 567265 [details] > backtrace You have a different problem. This bug is to fix the ums_realtek driver. You seem to have an issue with ums_eneub6250. Please open a new bug. |
