Seems to be related to push using the python client. Both the maven client and the PO download feature from the UI use the same file generation mechanism, and they will generate whatever is stored in the server. Managed to replicate the issue locally when pushing using the python client, but waiting for James to verify that. Thanks Carlos, Yes, it is a fault in python client, i can verify this issue on my side. I have modify the source code to fix this issue, after modify the source code, there is no empty msgctxt when downloading from web UI. Please use the latest source code to verify it. I will include this change in the next release. Thanks The fix of this issue is in commit 56134ee on git-hub Please see my comment on github: https://github.com/zanata/zanata-python-client/commit/56134eee43aab3c21449fdde5269e4ff2323f0e8#commitcomment-1313378 Sean, Thanks your comment, I have made another commit to fix this issue, please see my commit on github: https://github.com/zanata/zanata-python-client/commit/a461565d0808a5231d5f99b86a48ae5779032d14 verified with python client version: 1.3.5-6-ga461 zanata-python-client-1.3.7-1.fc16 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 16. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/zanata-python-client-1.3.7-1.fc16 zanata-python-client-1.3.7-1.el5 has been submitted as an update for Fedora EPEL 5. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/zanata-python-client-1.3.7-1.el5 zanata-python-client-1.3.7-1.fc17 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 17. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/zanata-python-client-1.3.7-1.fc17 zanata-python-client-1.3.7-1.fc15 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 15. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/zanata-python-client-1.3.7-1.fc15 zanata-python-client-1.3.7-1.el6 has been submitted as an update for Fedora EPEL 6. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/zanata-python-client-1.3.7-1.el6 Package zanata-python-client-1.3.7-1.fc16: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 16 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days.
