Comment 1 Jens Petersen 2012-06-11 07:34:55 UTC
I would like to include 7.4.2 in Fedora 18 but going to wait
a bit to see if the Haskell Platform schedule might be improved
to make an earlier release of 2012.4.

Comment 2 Jens Petersen 2012-08-24 10:17:34 UTC
ghc-7.4.2 is now committed into the ghc master branch for f19.

Comment 3 Jens Petersen 2012-08-24 11:02:08 UTC
Scratch build: http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=4419354

I plan to build for f19 next week.

Comment 4 Jens Petersen 2012-08-27 08:31:05 UTC
On the other hand 7.6.1 rc1 is out and it would be nice to know
which version of ghc the next Haskell Platform will ship.

Comment 5 Jens Petersen 2012-09-07 06:40:07 UTC
7.6.1 was released and it seems likely that HP 2012.4 will ship with it.

At least 7.4.2 could be used to bootstrap 7.6.1.

Comment 6 Jens Petersen 2012-09-10 03:41:10 UTC
I will close this bug once it is confirmed that HP-2012.4 will ship 7.6.1.

Comment 7 Jens Petersen 2012-10-16 03:08:15 UTC
Actually it seems I was over-enthusiastic: HP-2012.4 is targetting 7.4.2.
So this is our next stop.

Comment 8 Jens Petersen 2012-11-19 06:09:22 UTC
ghc-7.4.2 is in F19 Rawhide now.
