Description Eduardo Habkost 2012-08-23 15:00:15 UTC
This bug is for the SeaBIOS side of the APIC-ID-related topology bugs.

The qemu-kvm bugs that are affected by this are:

782648	KVM qemu -smp flag does not generate correct cpu topology w/ Westmere / EP /EX
815958	Incorrect NUMA topology for KVM VM
689665	Specify the number of cpu cores failed with cpu model Nehalem Penryn and Conroe
733720	'-smp 24,sockets=2,cores=6,threads=2' exposes 8 & 4 cores to CPUs on RHEL6 Linux guests
816804	NUMA information(memory and cpu) set should be the same as configure in command line
