RHEL Engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on RHEL 6 through RHEL 9 to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). Individual Bugzilla bugs in the statuses "NEW", "ASSIGNED", and "POST" are being migrated throughout September 2023. Bugs of Red Hat partners with an assigned Engineering Partner Manager (EPM) are migrated in late September as per pre-agreed dates. The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

This bug is for the SeaBIOS side of the APIC-ID-related topology bugs.

The qemu-kvm bugs that are affected by this are:

782648	KVM qemu -smp flag does not generate correct cpu topology w/ Westmere / EP /EX
815958	Incorrect NUMA topology for KVM VM
689665	Specify the number of cpu cores failed with cpu model Nehalem Penryn and Conroe
733720	'-smp 24,sockets=2,cores=6,threads=2' exposes 8 & 4 cores to CPUs on RHEL6 Linux guests
816804	NUMA information(memory and cpu) set should be the same as configure in command line

Have talked to Eduardo,this bug is connect with as follow bugs.

Checked these five above bugs already verified.So we can verify this bug.
