Altough it doesn't sound too risky/too complex to solve, not sure if in the current timeframe of 3.1, we should fix this. This is not a blocker bug. shouldn't user specify 'general' as cver? 'general' is the default cver. In case --cver option is not used, cver general is chosen. This bug asks to be accurate in the help cver option definition. cver is mandatory only for the non-general configuration key.
