did it only happened in run once ? or in the initial execution of a win VM the same behaviour occurs in both cases. What guest OS was it ? verified on: tested on windows xp: JoinDomain=qa.lab.tlv.redhat.com windows7: <Domain>qa.lab.tlv.redhat.com</Domain> |
Created attachment 639415 [details] screenshot Description of problem: windows gets $JOINDOMAIN$ string instead of actual domain name during sysprep Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): si24 (first spotted on si19.1 few days ago) How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. have a sealed VM with UnattendFile set to A:\sysprep.inf 2. run once the VM with [sysprep] floppy attached; make sure there is a domain selected in "Initial Run" 3. Actual results: VM is not joined to the domain. If you look to the logs or at the XP console during sysprep, you can see $JOINDOMAIN$ string instead of actual domain string (see screenshot) Expected results: VM is joined to the domain Additional info:
