4.9 sadly breaks binary compatiblity: http://upstream-tracker.org/versions/clipper.html I contacted the author to take greater care of that in the future. Up until now, saga is the only Fedora package I'm aware of, utilizing it. Some CAD software can use it too, but is still on package review, I think. I'll see what I can do. New version is in Rawhide now, other builds will follow, as only Saga seems to depend on it so far. polyclipping-4.9.6-1.fc18,saga-2.0.8-6.fc18 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 18. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/polyclipping-4.9.6-1.fc18,saga-2.0.8-6.fc18 polyclipping-4.9.6-1.fc17,saga-2.0.8-6.fc17 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 17. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/polyclipping-4.9.6-1.fc17,saga-2.0.8-6.fc17 Package polyclipping-4.9.6-1.fc18, saga-2.0.8-6.fc18: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 18 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days. Update it with: # su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing polyclipping-4.9.6-1.fc18 saga-2.0.8-6.fc18' as soon as you are able to. Please go to the following url: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2012-19072/polyclipping-4.9.6-1.fc18,saga-2.0.8-6.fc18 then log in and leave karma (feedback). polyclipping-4.9.6-1.fc18, saga-2.0.8-6.fc18 has been pushed to the Fedora 18 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. polyclipping-4.9.6-1.fc17, saga-2.0.8-6.fc17 has been pushed to the Fedora 17 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. |
