Prior to this update, the use of an uninitialized value could produce incorrect output from the hpcups driver. The underlying source code has been modified to initialize the value before it is used, and the described unexpected behavior is therefore prevented.

The LJZjStream::preProcessRasterData() was added in 3.11.12. I added possible fix to upstream report https://bugs.launchpad.net/hplip/+bug/800802 This request was not resolved in time for the current release. Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to propose this request, if still desired, for consideration in the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
