This issue has affected a handful of applications; pmorie and I spoke yesterday about having him investigate.

Worked with operations to restart the application; came back fine after restart.

Still the same erron on website, and in management console.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your answer.
I just restarted the application, and the website returned the expected data.
You say: "but enters a state later where the 'unable to connect to MySQL' message is displayed". 
'll Wait a while if this error again occurs, and then will send you the snapshot-file.
For now, 'll keep an eye on it.

Bug Triage: Just following up, are you all fixed now?  If yes or no let us know.  We'll close this bug at our next triage meeting and if it happens again you can re-open it.
