This happened when navigating into one of the subdirectories in an archive. This may be caused by clicking too fast on the folder list on start. *** Bug 809337 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** This bug is not closed upstream since it refers to the wrong upstream bug. The correct one is https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=647586 I can confirm that this still happens occasionally with an up to date F20. I kind of got used to it and just reopen the archive when file-roller crashes and then it's fine. ABRT doesn't seem to catch it any more.
