Description Jiri Popelka 2012-12-06 13:29:06 UTC
lpd subpackage contains /etc/xinetd.d/cups-lpd xinetd config file, which should be migrated [1] to systemd service.

Comment 1 Jiri Popelka 2012-12-19 16:57:51 UTC
I've added cups-lpd.socket and cups-lpd@.service to cups-1.6.1-17.fc19.

How To Test:
[1. terminal]# systemctl start cups-lpd.socket
[1. terminal]# systemctl --full | grep lpd
cups-lpd.socket loaded active listening

[2. terminal]# nc -v localhost 515

[1. terminal]# systemctl --full | grep lpd
cups-lpd.0.1:515-127.0.0.1:40672.service loaded active running
cups-lpd.socket loaded active listening

[2. terminal]# ^C
[2. terminal]# echo -e "\004my-printer-queue" | nc -v localhost 515
my-printer-queue is ready
no entries

Comment 3 Fedora End Of Life 2013-04-03 20:39:18 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 19 development cycle.
Changing version to '19'.

(As we did not run this process for some time, it could affect also pre-Fedora 19 development
cycle bugs. We are very sorry. It will help us with cleanup during Fedora 19 End Of Life. Thank you.)
