The last action before Evolution disappeared from the display and was replaced by the Automatic Bug Reporting Tool was to expunge Trash.

This has been fixed upstream.  Any chance of getting an evolution-3.8.3-3.fc19 with the patch for this applied?

There is a 3.8.4 release on Monday, July 22nd. When it's out, a build will be created in updates-testing.
