Comment 11 Rodrigo Hernandes 2013-01-06 22:22:32 UTC
It is relatively easy to cause the error.

Additional important information.

Brand of Camera: Sony
Model: Nex-F3

The error occurs in two situations:

1 When you connect the camera and starts the program

or

2nd When we started the program, I connect the camera and do a search "per device"

excuse me for the english, I'm using a translator

Comment 12 Rodrigo Hernandes 2013-01-06 22:31:09 UTC
More important information I forgot to mention ...

the camera Sony nex-f3 is not supported by the software darktable, he has an initial support for NEX5 (theoretically similar hardware)

http://www.darktable.org/2012/12/released-1-1-1/

however, even without support for camera, she could not close the program abruptly ....

Comment 13 Edouard Bourguignon 2013-01-07 07:40:36 UTC
I think you should report this problem to the darktable mailing list, if your camera is not yet supported, what can I do?

Comment 14 Rodrigo Hernandes 2013-01-07 11:47:30 UTC
Well, actually already uninstalled the program, just put the 1.1.1 version on request to test whether the same bug occurred.

I do not think you could do something about the camera is not compatible because it is already a feature of the software. :)

I just believe that even if the camera was not compatible, could not close abruptly and generate an error.

But once grateful for answering and sorry for bad english.

Rodrigo Hernandes.
