Can you try with darktable 1.1.1 in the updates-testing please?
Tested with version 1.1.1 as requested https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=892369
Just launched the program for the first time after install, using the post-install GUI dialog of gpk-application. backtrace_rating: 4 Package: darktable-1.1.1-1.fc18 OS Release: Fedora release 18 (Spherical Cow)
*** Bug 892369 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Rodrigo, Is the problem still here with darktable 1.1.3?
As requested I auditioned. still the same error. Good problem I believe is that the software itself is not supported. However already found another program to replace. ;) sorry for the bad english link error https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=892228
I'm using version 1.1.3 but when i am sending the error it is giving error as duplicate.
What error? What do you mean by "the software itself is not supported"?
"the software itself is not supported"? Forgiveness was a translation error the camera is not yet supported by darktable Please look at this video of the bug. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jq20M4P0u7A
Sorry video is not in english. If the camera is not yet supported I can't do anything. What is your camera?
Darktable appears to crash when trying to access my USB-attached Canon EOS400D. It crashes on startup if attached on startup, or when I click the "Scan for devices" button if attached after startup. backtrace_rating: 4 Package: darktable-1.1.3-1.fc18 OS Release: Fedora release 18 (Spherical Cow)
I just believe that even if the camera was not compatible, could not close abruptly and generate an error. camera Sony nex-f3 1 When you connect the camera and starts the program or 2nd When we started the program, I connect the camera and do a search "per device" excuse me for the english, I'm using a translator
Created attachment 714629 [details] suggested patch This happens when I start darktable while I have my MP3 player connected via USB. gphoto2 first thinks that it's a camera but then decides that there's something wrong and tries to call the GPContextErrorFunc and darktable crashes. This patch fixes the problem for me. I already submitted pull request upstream. https://github.com/darktable-org/darktable/pull/200
Seems to be fixed in darktable-1.2-1.fc18.x86_64 I see [camera_control] gphoto2 error: PTP I/O error when I start it as 'darktable d -all' but it does not crash anymore.
Open darktable with external usb device plugged in (smartphone || camera). How I got around the problem? Detached the device Opened darktable Reattached the device backtrace_rating: 4 cmdline: darktable crash_function: _dt_sigsegv_handler executable: /usr/bin/darktable kernel: 3.8.8-202.fc18.x86_64 package: darktable-1.1.4-2.fc18 reason: Process /usr/bin/darktable was killed by signal 11 (SIGSEGV) uid: 1000 ureports_counter: 1 xsession_errors:
So it seems to be fixed. Thanks
I still have this trouble darktable-1.1.4-2.fc18.x86_64
