Description Vitezslav Humpa 2013-01-21 10:50:23 UTC
Description of problem:
Running gnome-system-log from over the menu leads to largely inaccessible application menu.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
gnome-system-log-3.6.1-2.el7.x86_64

How reproducible:
80% of times

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the 'System Log', type in the password for polkit if asked
2. Try to click the application top panel menu

Actual results:
Menu (containing Quit) largely won't open. If it does, try spawning overview or switching windows, come back to gnome-system-log and try again.

Expected results:
Menu always opens

Still happens on gnome-system-log-3.9.90-3.el7.x86_64 from el7-gnome314 copr

Comment 5 Matthias Clasen 2015-09-08 20:23:35 UTC
Unlikely that this will be fixed in gnome-system-log. It has been superseded upstream by gnome-logs (which relies on the systemd journal and is thus not well-suited for rhel7).
