Description Daniel Mach 2013-02-12 08:14:50 UTC
# LC_ALL=C dnf install yum-plugin-downloadonly
Setting up Install Process
Resolving Dependencies
--> Starting dependency resolution
--> Finished dependency resolution
Error: nothing provides requested yum = plugin-downloadonly

This error message doesn't make any sense to me, it looks like the package name was parsed as a reldep (???).

Hi Dan,

You've found an error that was already reported. It happens everytime someone tries to install a package with two dashes where the part before the first dash matches a name of another package.

Closing this as a dup of the original hawkey bug 903687, which was just fixed in the upstream version.
