Enable the rpmfusion repository ( http://rpmfusion.org/Configuration ). 2. Run dnf install gstreamer1-plugins-ugly Actual results: Setting up Install Process Resolving Dependencies There are unfinished transactions remaining. You might consider running yum-complete-transaction first to finish them. --> Starting dependency resolution --> Finished dependency resolution Error: nothing provides requested gstreamer1 = plugins-ugly Expected results: dnf should be able to install gstreamer1-plugins-ugly Additional info: yum-3.4.3-47.fc18.noarch works fine: Resolving Dependencies --> Running transaction check ---> Package gstreamer1-plugins-ugly.x86_64 0:1.0.2-2.fc18 will be installed --> Finished Dependency Resolution

Yes, please wait for a build of the new hawkey version where those arguments should start to behave.

I have the same problem with tagainijisho-dic-*. The just-submitted update partly fixes the behaviour for me: # dnf --enablerepo=updates-testing install tagainijisho-dic-en works now # dnf --enablerepo=updates-testing install tagainijisho-dic-en.noarch Error: nothing provides requested tagainijisho.noarch = dic-en Note: this does not seem to be reproducible with all packages -- e.g. # dnf install gstreamer1-plugins-ugly.i686 Error: nothing provides requested gstreamer1.i686 = plugins-ugly # dnf install "gstreamer1-plugins-ugly(x86-32)" works # dnf install gtk-solidity-engine.i686 works
