With this update, the ovirt-engine configuration file located in /etc/sysconfig/ has been migrated to /etc/ovirt-engine/engine.conf. This is because the configuration file is not only used by the ovirt-engine service, but by other tools as well, and because the /etc/sysconfig/ directory is not common in distributions other than Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Any suggestion how to test this? (In reply to Martin Pavlik from comment #1) > Any suggestion how to test this? During installation from scratch the /etc/sysconfig/ovirt-engine file shouldn't have any content. All the configuration parameters should instead go in the /etc/ovirt-engine/engine.conf file or inside files in /etc/ovirt-engine/engine.conf.d directory. During upgrade the parameters in /etc/sysconfig/ovirt-engine should be moved to the /etc/ovirt-engine/engine.conf directory. This bug is currently attached to errata RHEA-2013:15231. If this change is not to be documented in the text for this errata please either remove it from the errata, set the requires_doc_text flag to minus (-), or leave a "Doc Text" value of "--no tech note required" if you do not have permission to alter the flag.
