Description Jeff Bastian 2013-03-08 20:10:27 UTC
Spec URL: http://people.redhat.com/~jbastian/cxmanage/specs/python-pyipmi.spec
SRPM URL: http://people.redhat.com/~jbastian/cxmanage/python-pyipmi-0.6.2-1.fc18.src.rpm
Description:
pyipmi provides an abstraction layer above tools that provide IPMI
(ipmitool, freeipmi) so code can be written once and reused across
    different tools.

Note: this depends on the cxoem patch for ipmitool, see bug 918296.

Comment 1 Jeff Bastian 2013-03-08 20:23:14 UTC
This is my first of three packages (also see bug 919590 and bug 919592), so I need a sponsor.

Comment 2 Kevin Fenzi 2013-03-10 18:02:48 UTC
I'll go ahead and review this today... Look for a full review in a bit.

Comment 3 Kevin Fenzi 2013-03-10 18:12:30 UTC
Yeah, so I guess I really need to wait until the ipmitool bug is fixed here. ;(

Comment 4 Ales Ledvinka 2013-03-11 09:02:12 UTC
feel free to split the ipmitool patch and get get it through upstream. to make it apply to the upstream cvs is trivial change. but briefly looking at the changes it needs a split + rework.

Comment 5 Jeff Bastian 2013-06-17 13:44:24 UTC
I have updated the python-pyipmi package to the latest version from upstream python-pyipmi-0.7.1

Comment 6 Jeff Bastian 2013-06-18 15:56:32 UTC
I fixed the BuildRequires to use python2-devel (instead of python-devel)

I guess we no longer need this package in Fedora since Calxeda is shutting down.
