Spec URL: http://people.redhat.com/~jbastian/cxmanage/specs/cxmanage.spec SRPM URL: http://people.redhat.com/~jbastian/cxmanage/cxmanage-0.7.1-1.fc18.src.rpm Description: cxmanage is a tool to manage Calxeda servers Fedora Account System Username: jbastian Note: this depends on python-tftpy (bug 919590), python-pyipmi (bug 919591), and cxoem patches for ipmitool (bug 918296).
This is my first of three packages (also see bug 919590 and bug 919591) so I need a sponsor.
I've sponsored Jeff. Removing needsponsor.
I have updated the package with the latest version from upstream to cxmanage-0.8.2 Spec URL: http://people.redhat.com/~jbastian/cxmanage/specs/cxmanage.spec SRPM URL: http://people.redhat.com/~jbastian/cxmanage/Fedora18/cxmanage-0.8.2-1.fc18.src.rpm
Howdy Jeff, Some comments: - python-devel in BR is deprecated See: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:Python#BuildRequires - Sources used to build the package match the upstream source, as provided in the spec URL. Note: Upstream MD5sum check error See: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging/SourceURL CHECKSUM(SHA256) this package : 49a809cbff056905c0459bcfa32b293658d7d19ad68a9d00a6864e00448b62e9 CHECKSUM(SHA256) upstream package : 1d6686e48d6c7e9790791f6fff371c2ebc16aca55ac83fdb6d4e3e247eda79d2 Thanks Douglas
Hi Douglas! Thanks for the feedback! I've corrected the BR to python2-devel, and used the correct tarball for the upstream sources. (I had tar'ed up my git tree for that build, oops.) I guess we no longer need this package in Fedora since Calxeda is shutting down. http://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2013/12/arm-in-the-server-room-faces-a-set-back-as-calxeda-shuts-down/
